LOX-index test
Genetic testing for cancer
LOX-index is a blood test to determine the risk of stroke or myocardial infraction. LOX-1 is a protein that removes foreign substances from the blood and binds to foreign LAB, damaging the vessel walls and increasing arteriosclerosis. The sLOX-1 measured in this test is LOX-1 dissolved in the blood and is known to increase with inflammation. By measuring these factors, the risk of future cerebral or myocardial infarction can be effectively evaluated.
The microRNA cancer blood test examines the risk of developing cancer. By examining the type and amount of microRNA in the blood, various cancers can be detected at an early stage simply by a blood collection. High hopes are on this test as a new diagnostic marker.
